Phishing

Phishing

Phishing is an increasingly common form of cyberattack used to gain access to sensitive information, such as passwords and financial information. It involves attackers sending out malicious emails that appear to come from a legitimate source, such as a bank. The emails will often include a link to a website that appears legitimate, but is actually a malicious site. Once the user has clicked the link and entered their information, the attacker is able to gain access to the user’s sensitive data. Phishing attacks can be difficult to identify, so it is important to be vigilant when it comes to clicking on links in emails or text messages.
